our first night in our new home... Katoomba greeted us well, with the un-expected weather.. cold, rain and windy... Mother Mary was placed at our door, candles lit & we tucked ourselves up into bed and promptly fell asleep to a gale blowing outside. weather warnings had been issued for gale force winds... but I slept. and as i did, I could feel Avalon, wrap her arms around me.. rocking me to sleep. I had come home.
morning dawned... rain and sunshine - wind and hail... my computer is on an old 1930's woodend table..sitting looking out my window I feel like a writer. the mist rolled in over the apple tree blossom. what more could i want.
I do not know how many times I am going to say that I have come home

the lilac is blooming - an exquisite perfume. the iris are in bud, a tree of unknown name, is budding.. cannot wait to find out what it is. i found out that one of my apple trees is actually a plum....
the beginnings of my life at Avalon

Blessings to you.

I am just so very pleased for you Robyn. I hope you have many happy times here. Looking forward to hearing about it all and your sense of peace about being here.
You have had quite the journey to find your home! May you spend many happy years there.
Many blessings to you in your new home! I love the scent of lilacs in bloom. They remind me of my childhood.
You sound so at peace. I'm truly happy for you.

Hi Robyn, it sounds like you have already settled in. Great news !!! You weren't this enthousiastic when you moved into Villa Maria, so I'm sure this is the right place for you. You already feel at home and the house and garden have welcomed you. Good luck in your new home !!!!
perfect! I am so happy for you Robyn!
Blessings, Leanne x
There's nothing like a storm when you're all safe and snug in your bed. Your first night in your new home sounds lovely....candlelight and your loved one beside you. I hope you have many, many more happy nights in Avalon.
I really envy your lilac..lasst time I smelt lilac was in the UK about 5 yrs ago now. I love lilac so much you must have the climate for it there?

I thought of you this week wondering whether you were in or not. Think it was Wednesday, strange to think that you were really into it on that day. Nice.
I smiled when I read your post, it really feels like the magic is there.
And it's yours.
You are a writer. So glad Avalon welcomed you home. Many good wishes to you and Joe and all those you love and care for.
xx
