my friend Maureen died last night. I am sad & lost. Have known her for over 20 years. I just don't deal with loss very well at all.. but I guess that is quite normal. 
this is my sacred space. a place where I share my world and my life, as I see it. through my art and journalling. meditations and walks. my pondering & my dreaming and through my gardening. a world that I see as joyful, magickal and full of promise.. a world that i create as I journey this Earth

- here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. I'm so sorry Robyn. I know it hurts to lose someone who has been part of your life for so long. Perhaps you could take comfort in knowing that SHE knew you were her friend and she appreciated that. Of course these are just words. The real deal is the hurt in the heart. xoxo

I have been away with the hubby on his business trip and just popping by now to read this sad news. I know she was very important to the fabric of your life. I am very sorry for you loss and hope that you can feel those who are here, lifting you up on prayer wings.
